Designed by a Board-Certified Endodontist
ZyZyX was created by a practicing endodontist who understood the daily challenges of working with rubber dams and digital sensors. After years of frustration with metal artifacts and constant dam removal, they developed this innovative solution.
Why Dentists Choose ZyZyX
The ZyZyX system solves the common challenges of dental imaging, particularly when working with rubber dams and digital sensors.
Save Valuable Chair Time
No need to remove rubber dams for X-rays. Get high-quality images the first time, reducing the need for retakes.
Crystal Clear Images
No metal means no artifacts in your X-rays. Take images directly to the root tip for precise diagnostics and treatment planning.
Enhanced Patient Comfort
Ultra-small footprint with no sharp edges minimizes discomfort. The non-slip keyed shaft design provides stable bite positioning while the repositionable adhesive allows for perfect placement.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about the ZyZyX Universal Positioning System
Are the flags reusable?
Flags are repositionable during use but are not meant for sterilization. The temperature of a sterilization system destabilizes the medical-grade material.
Can I apply the flag directly to the sensor?
Place the sensor in a plastic barrier. This prevents bacterial transfer and protects the sensor from adhesive. Direct application could damage your sensor over time.
Why is the shaft not round?
It keys to the flag to prevent turning and allows patients to bite comfortably while enabling the sensor to be angled further for optimal positioning.
What if I select the wrong flag?
Simply remove the handle and insert it from the opposite direction. It will still work securely for your imaging needs.
